There are many reasons to learn to speak Chinese Mandarin.  An increasing number of universities and college-prep high schools are teaching Chinese Mandarin because China has the potential to become the largest consumer market in the world.  Many couples are adopting babies and young children from China and wish them to retain their native language and gain an understanding of their heritage. 

Language instruction can be particularly effective with young children, who are able to pick up any language with ease.  I can also assist students who are learning Chinese Mandarin in the classroom.  Tutoring can help those students who need assistance in overcoming shyness when speaking, improving pronunciation, retaining vocabulary, and composing written lessons.

I am a native Chinese Mandarin speaker with a B.A. in Language & Literature from the Beijing Chinese People's Police Officer University, one of the most prestigious and highly respected universities in China.  I currently am employed as an English-to-Mandarin phone interpreter by Language Line Services.
